We accept payments by bank transfer, credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), and in some cases, cash payments. It is important to bear in mind that card payments are subject to minimum administration fees. We also offer the possibility of sending a payment link by email or WhatsApp, for your convenience. We guarantee the security of all transactions and provide you with a detailed receipt for each operation.

To confirm your boat hire in Ibiza, you need to pay 50% of the total charter price. This initial payment ensures that the boat is reserved exclusively for you on the selected date. Normally the remaining 50% is paid on the day of embarkation, which allows you to plan your budget with flexibility. However, in the case of sailboats and catamarans, it is customary for the final payment to be made one or two weeks before embarkation.

According to Spanish regulations, rental boats in Ibiza have a maximum capacity of 12 people, plus the crew. If your group is larger, we offer solutions such as renting several boats in tandem or specific boats designed for events and large groups.

The APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is an advance deposit used to cover additional expenses such as fuel, food, drinks and any other services requested during the yacht charter in Ibiza. It usually represents between 20% and 30% of the total rental price and is managed directly by the captain. At the end of the charter, you will receive a detailed breakdown of expenses and any unused balance will be refunded to you.

If you charter with a skipper, we will only need your ID card or passport. If you choose to charter a boat without a skipper, you must present a valid nautical licence. To speed up the process, you can send us these documents in advance.
Yes, it will always be necessary to sign a rental contract before boarding. This document details the conditions of the service, guaranteeing a transparent and safe experience.

The majority of our boats have their base port in Ibiza town, specifically in Marina Ibiza, Marina Botafoch and Port Nautic Ibiza. However, we also have boats available in other ports on the island, such as San Antonio and Santa Eulalia, offering options closer to your desired location or itinerary.

If you wish to embark or disembark in Formentera, the chartered boat with skipper will depart from Ibiza town and can pick you up in Formentera to start your day. This service will allow you to enjoy the convenience of starting your experience directly on the neighbouring island.

Please consult us in advance if you would like to be dropped off at a specific port, as there may be additional fees and schedule adjustments for booking moorings in other parts of the island.

What is included in the rental?

The boat hire rate in Ibiza includes the basic services necessary for you to fully enjoy your day at sea. This includes mooring in port, insurance for the boat and occupants, port fees, snorkelling equipment, courtesy drinks, ice, audio equipment, awning and fridge. In addition, most boats have an outdoor shower for your comfort. In each boat’s file you can consult all the specifications and details about what is included and what is not.

Insurance for the boat and the occupants is always included. On boats with an optional skipper, the cost of the captain is not included, as this is an extra service that we strongly recommend to guarantee a worry-free experience. Fuel consumption is never included and will depend on the route sailed. If you wish, we can include fuel and offer you a fixed price so that you know the total cost in advance. We will always detail what is included and what is not included before you make your reservation.

We offer a wide variety of extras to personalise your experience at sea. You can hire water toys such as seabobs, flyboards or paddle surf, ideal for those looking to add a touch of adventure to their day. On all boats for hire in Ibiza we include complimentary drinks such as soft drinks, beers, water and ice. On larger boats, snacks and a selection of additional drinks are also included. If you would like specific drinks or a larger quantity, you can let us know in advance, and we will organise the purchase for you at an extra cost for the service.

Yes, on all charter boats you are allowed to bring your own food and drink. We recommend that you choose meals that are easy to eat and do not require complex preparation. On bareboat charters, it is important that the captain moderates the consumption of alcoholic beverages to ensure safety on board.

On smaller boats, towels are not usually included, but on boats of 8-9 metres in length they are generally provided. The possibility of cooking is available exclusively on boats prepared for life on board, such as sailboats, catamarans and yachts. These boats are usually rented for several days or weeks and have fully equipped kitchens. For crewed charters, we can also organise premium services such as a chef or cooks on board. Charter day:
preparation and experience on board

We recommend that you take the essentials with you to enjoy your boat charter in Ibiza. This includes sun protection (sunglasses, sun cream, hat), towels if they are not included on the boat, comfortable clothing, swimming costume and suitable footwear for boats (white sole or bare feet). Don’t forget your personal documentation and, if you are bringing food or drink, we suggest easy-to-consume options. If you have any specific needs, our team will be happy to advise you before your charter.
The usual boarding time is between 10:00 and 12:00, while disembarkation takes place between 18:00 and 20:00, depending on the sunlight. If you wish to adjust these times, please consult us in advance to assess personalised options. Please note that safety is a priority and the boat must return before dark.
A full day hire allows you to enjoy the boat for 8 hours, starting from the contracted departure time. For your convenience, we offer an additional 30-minute margin for possible delays caused by external factors such as traffic. For boat rentals without a skipper, it is important that you return to port before the petrol station closes (8 p.m.) or before dark for safety reasons.

To extend the hours of your boat rental day in Ibiza, you must coordinate this in advance with the company, as it is not possible on all boats. This service has an additional cost and must be agreed with the team and/or captain. For rentals without a skipper, there is no problem with extending the hours as long as the boat returns before dark and, above all, before the petrol station closes (20:00) for refuelling.

Depending on the wind and the weather conditions, we usually sail towards the east or west coast (Levante or Poniente area) of Formentera to enjoy quiet beaches and coves with no waves. Normally, clients choose the coasts of Formentera and/or the south of Ibiza, visiting places like Las Salinas, Cala Jondal and Es Vedrà. Yes, to guarantee the safety and enjoyment of everyone, these are some rules you must respect during your charter in Ibiza:

  • Always follow the captain’s instructions.
    Do not throw any objects into the sea and always anchor in sandy areas.
  • Under no circumstances may you jump into the water while the engines are running.
  • The use of seabobs and water toys is limited to permitted areas.
  • Throwing paper or objects in the toilet is prohibited; if a blockage occurs due to misuse, the customer will bear the repair costs.

Respecting these rules ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Safety equipment is included and ready to use on every boat rental: life jackets, fire extinguishers, VHF radio and more. Before setting sail, we will brief you on the use of emergency equipment and basic safety regulations. If the boat is rented without a skipper, it is the captain’s responsibility to comply with all regulations.

Cancellations,
responsibilities and policies

If the weather conditions are not safe for navigation, we will do our best to reschedule your boat rental in Ibiza for another available day. If it is not possible to find an alternative date, we will refund you the full amount paid. Our aim is to ensure that you can enjoy a safe and pleasant day at sea.

The vast majority of rental bookings are day charters and the following policy usually applies:

  • 100% REFUND: all bookings cancelled at least 15 days before the day of the rental
  • 75% REFUND: all bookings cancelled between 14 and 7 days before the day of the rental
  • 50% REFUND: all reservations cancelled between 7 days and 48 hours before the day of the rental
  • 25% REFUND: all reservations cancelled between 48 hours and 24 hours before the day of the rental
  • NO REFUND: all reservations cancelled less than 24 hours before the day of the rental and in case of no-show.

In the case of rentals such as sailboats, catamarans and luxury yachts that last more than a day or even weeks, we suggest you review the conditions of the rental in advance.

In case of damage during the rental, if the boat has a captain, the responsibility generally falls on the company. However, in some cases, even if there is a captain, a small deposit is requested to cover possible minor damage. This condition will be clearly specified in the contract that you must sign before boarding. In rentals without a skipper, the captain (you) will be responsible for any damage caused, which will be covered by the deposit paid before boarding. Any expenses that exceed this amount will be evaluated and communicated to the client.
The deposit will be returned within a maximum period of 24 hours if the boat is in the same condition as when it was delivered. Proof of the process will be provided for greater transparency. In some cases, due to bank procedures, the return or release of the deposit can take several days. We guarantee that, at all times, our commitment to transparency is a priority and that you will have the necessary documentation as backup.
For boats rented with a skipper, no deposit is generally required and if there is one, it is usually considerably lower (to cover fuel costs). On the other hand, for boat rentals without a skipper, the deposit is higher, as the client assumes full responsibility for the boat during the rental period.
